The parish serves the Catholic community of the small market town of  Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire and its surrounding areas. Ross is the only urban centre in a predominantly rural area. The town has grown in recent years and now has a population of approximately 10,000. The resident Catholic population numbers around 1000 with Mass attendance usually between 150 and 200 although the number can vary considerably due to seasonal visitors.
